Story

Sydney and Kira, two sisters, are left alone in their home for a week while their parents are away during a nationwide lockdown. They must use a new app called “Stay at Home” to guarantee their safety; it tracks everything about them, including their location, communication, and heart rates.

The sisters use the app to stay in touch with their friends and at first think it is harmless but intrusive. However, Sydney and Kira start to worry that the app might be more dangerous than it seems when their friends start passing away in horrifyingly cruel ways. The sisters discover a disturbing link between the app’s developers and the murders as they delve deeper into the app’s history and intended use.

Sydney and Kira are stuck in their own house with nowhere to go, so they have to figure out how to trick the app, put an end to it, and make it through the week before it takes their lives too.

Plot Summary

Sydney and Kira, two sisters, are left alone in their house during a nationwide lockdown. They must use a newly developed app called “Stay at Home,” which tracks their every move and ensures their safety and adherence to lockdown regulations. At first glance, the app appears to be a useful resource for keeping them in contact with the outside world. But when horrifying and vicious killings happen to their friends, the sisters begin to believe that the app might be responsible for the murders. Sydney and Kira need to learn the truth and figure out how to trick the app before they become its next victims as the number of dead rises.
