Story

Recovering addict Jason is placed on parole and made to wear an ankle tracker as part of his punishment. He lives on a dilapidated ranch. He is shocked to learn that Griff, his estranged grandfather and a war veteran whom he had thought to be dead, is still alive and managing the ranch. The two men, alienated and resentful, have to face their dark pasts in addition to a new threat: a gang of hostile rivals who are demanding payment for an unpaid debt. They have to cooperate to protect themselves from these dangerous enemies while they try to mend their broken relationship.

Plot

“Searching for the Elephant” tells the story of Jason Bowden, a drug addict in recovery whose parole requires him to live on a dilapidated ranch. There, he is forced to confront his estranged grandfather, Griff Bowden, a war veteran who Jason believed to be dead. As they grapple with their fractured relationship, they find themselves facing mounting threats from adversaries demanding repayment of a long-standing debt. Amidst their strained interactions, Jason and Griff must navigate the dangers that loom large as they seek redemption and reconciliation.
