Story
In the suspenseful action movie Hounds of War, a team of elite mercenaries sets out on a dangerous mission that rapidly gets out of hand. They are up against tremendous odds, and if their mission fails, they will suffer disastrous losses. Frank Grillo’s character, Steven Elder, the only survivor, is left heartbroken and motivated only by a desire for vengeance. He embarks on an unrelenting mission to find those accountable for the ambush and his allies’ horrible deaths. Along the journey, Steven encounters moral conundrums that test his own code of honor and learns dark secrets about the individuals who deceived them. His quest turns into a struggle for his soul as well as for vengeance.
Plot Summary
The only member of Steven Elder’s elite team to survive is Frank Grillo, a seasoned mercenary, after a covert operation in a war-torn country goes horribly wrong. The mission, which was supposed to gather vital intelligence, failed miserably, leaving his allies dead and their treachery hanging heavy. Driven by a desire for justice and retribution, Elder must find the people behind the ambush and unravel a complex web of lies and corruption. Elder ventures into a perilous underworld with his reluctant ally, Jenna (Yvonne Mai), and his sole guide, the mysterious Colonel Hart (Robert Patrick), risking all to exact revenge on his fallen brothers.
