Story

Plot Summary
In the first scenes of the movie, a series of horrific murders quickly upend the quiet day-to-day existence of a small southern town. The case is given to the local police, who are under the command of Captain Howell (Alec Baldwin), but it appears that they will never solve it as more bodies are found. As they investigate and unearth sinister secrets about the villagers and their own coworkers, Detective Brian Sutter (Terrence Howard) and his partner, Jaclyn Waters (Nicky Whelan), become entangled in a web of deceit. The killer’s identity and motivations remain a mystery, making the investigation more difficult to solve. The group is in a race against time to find the murderer before more lives are lost because of the growing pressure and mistrust in the community.
