Story
“Battle Born” is the gripping and dramatic story of Alex Saucedo, a former Ranger and soldier in the Army Special Forces who returns to civilian life with severe emotional scarring. Following his discharge from the military due to PTSD, Alex finds it difficult to acclimate to a normal life. He returns to his home in Las Vegas and confronts the harsh reality of being impoverished, jobless, and in danger of becoming homeless. With his once-proud career in ruins, Alex wanders through life, troubled by memories from the past.
One fateful day, Alex crosses paths with Juan Rivas, a former cartel sicario who now operates in the shadows of society. In a strange twist of fate, Rivas sees potential in Alex’s combat skills and offers him an opportunity he can’t refuse: a job protecting high-profile clients connected to the cartel. Although initially hesitant, Alex, desperate for work and a sense of purpose, takes the offer.
As Alex gets pulled deeper into Rivas’ world, he begins to feel alive again, reliving the adrenaline-filled days of his military service. But the further he goes, the more he realizes the dangers that lurk around every corner. Plot
