She remained optimistic and determined, stating, “Comparing myself with other actors my age, I realized I was different. It became an all-or-nothing situation for me. I aimed to showcase my own abilities, to portray a good actor through my own visage,” she affirmed.
Her film roles in “Sunny” (2011) and “Han Gong-ju” (2014) marked her as a prominent figure in the Korean film industry, Chungmuro, and her remarkable performance in “Han Gong-ju” earned her the prestigious Best Leading Actress at the Blue Dragon Film Award.
