The legal counsel for Nick Carter, the member of Backstreet Boys, has issued a statement in response to accusations made against him in the recent Investigation Discovery documentary series titled Aaron and Nick Carter: Fallen Idols.
The series, which debuted this week, features interviews with Melissa Schuman, Shannon “Shay” Ruth, and Ashley Repp. Each of these women have initiated lawsuits where they allege Nick Carter of sexual assault.
In response to these allegations, which Nick has previously denied through court filings and statements from his legal team, another rebuttal has been provided in light of the series showcasing his accusers.

“These are exactly the same outrageous claims that led us to sue this gang of conspirators,” lawyer Dale Hayes, Jr. expressed to The Hollywood Reporter. “These cases are proceeding through the legal system at present, and given both the initial rulings of the court and the substantial evidence we’ve gathered, we are confident in achieving a favorable outcome to discredit these unfounded accusations.”
As noted by Fallen Idols’ executive producer Michael Hirschorn, an offer was extended for Nick to address the allegations within the documentary series; however, he chose not to participate.
