Tammy Slaton from the hit show 1000-Lb. Sisters has taken to social media to confront cyberbullies following her weight loss updates.
The reality television celebrity recently posted a video on TikTok in which she uses strong language to address her detractors.
In the brief seven-second clip, 37-year-old Tammy displays a noticeably slimmer facial appearance.
Onscreen, the TLC personality sports a pair of gray overalls along with a brownish top, and gives viewers a glimpse of her butterfly tattoo, her fresh haircut, and a stylish silver necklace.
Tammy straightforwardly captioned her video, commenting, “Honestly, if you don’t like me, f**k off. Problem solved.” She added visual dynamism to the clip with an electrifying filter.
The impassioned video arrives shortly after Tammy was visibly disturbed by a hurtful remark from an online troll.
In a lengthier three-minute video, she addresses a naysayer who unkindly compared her to the cartoon figure Peter Griffin from Family Guy.
With visible emotion, Tammy exhibits her more sculpted cheeks and continues, “If you have no name and no picture, keep your mouth shut”
Tammy emphasized, “So what if I look like Peter Griffin? So what if I have a turkey neck? So what? I worked hard for it!”
She expressed pride in her achievements and affirmed that no one should be the subject of name-calling, regardless of circumstances.
Her spirited defense came alongside updates of her weight reduction progress, having slimmed down to around 300 pounds from a previous 717 pounds, a prerequisite for her to receive bariatric surgery in 2022.
Mid-July 2023 saw The U.S. Sun report exclusively on Tammy’s estimated 400-pound weight loss. Mentioning that Tammy’s initial thought was that she weighed in at 370 pounds, a source elaborated that her actual weight was much lesser, a healthy 334 pounds.
Another insight shared that since leaving rehab the previous year, Tammy has maintained her recovery. Furthermore, as of September 2023, she weighed merely about 30 pounds more than her sister Amy, the source disclosed.
Amy, now 35, juggles her life taking care of two young kids, Gage, aged three, and one-year-old Glenn. She shares them with her former spouse, Michael Halterman, 40.
