There was a concerning moment for the Denver Broncos on Sunday when running back Tyler Badie sustained a back injury that required him to be immobilized and taken off the field on a stretcher. The injury occurred during the game, leaving fans and teammates anxious about Badie’s condition.

After the game, head coach Sean Payton did not provide any immediate updates on Badie’s status, saying only that more information would come after further evaluation.

According to a source familiar with the situation, Badie has movement in all of his extremities—a positive sign. Though he was still undergoing evaluations as of a few hours ago, the current expectation is that he will recover and be fine.

It remains unclear whether Badie traveled back to Denver with the team. When asked, Payton responded, “We’ll see,” indicating that decisions regarding his return were still up in the air. The Broncos were scheduled to head back to Colorado around 7:00 p.m. ET.

For now, the news appears encouraging, and Badie’s condition seems to be improving. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
