Tragic Double Homicide in Encino: “American Idol” Music Supervisor and Husband Found Shot
On July 14, 2025, LAPD officers performed a welfare check at a luxurious Encino residence after family members hadn’t heard from the homeowners for days. Inside, they discovered 70-year-old Robin Kaye—a seasoned music supervisor known for her work on American Idol—and her husband, musician Thomas Deluca, each with fatal gunshot wounds to the head. On July 15, authorities arrested 22‑year‑old Raymond Boodarian of Encino, who is believed to have acted alone.
