Smartphone manufacturer Vivo has submitted a patent for a smartphone with an integrated flying camera. The camera is able to get detached from the smartphone and fly in the air. Such a camera design will allow the smartphone users to take photos creatively. The patent has been submitted in December 2020 with the World Intellectual Property Office (WIPO) and is named ‘Electronic device’ for Vivo Mobile Communication. A sketch of the detachable flying camera indicated how it will work in reality. It will fuse batteries, camera sensors, and infrared sensors inside.

A sketch appropriated in the archiving shows a little compartment on the top edge of the smartphone where the distinguishable camera can slide in and out.
