Tom Brady, a seven-time Super Bowl champion, has acquired a small stake in the English football team Birmingham City and will lead its new advisory board.

Brady was reportedly expected to collaborate with the team’s sports science division, the board, and the management group on “global marketing initiatives and the identification of new commercial partnership opportunities,” according to the club.

The 46-year-old former NFL quarterback partnered with Knighthead Capital Management to become a minority owner at the team that placed 17th in the second division of English football last season.

“Tom Brady’s decision to join Birmingham City is a declaration of intent. We’re aiming for world-class performance. Tom is dedicating and devoting both his time and vast knowledge.

Brady referred to City as a “iconic club” despite the fact that they last competed in the Premier League in 2011.

Brady remarked, “I’ve been on some incredible teams in my time, and I’m excited to use my perspective to build that same success here in Birmingham.”

Since his retirement, Brady has kept himself busy off the pitch. He was introduced as the newest celebrity team owner in the new electric race boat competition, the E1 World Championship.
Additionally, he bought a share in the Las Vegas Aces WNBA team.
