Magic: The Gathering is racing into the Sonic universe with a trio of Secret Lair releases—a celebration of Sega's iconic characters in MTG form. This “Sonic Superdrop” brings both brand-new and reimagined cards to tabletop fans worldwide.

The centerpiece of the collaboration introduces seven mechanically unique cards, spotlighting fan favorites from the Sonic series, each reimagined as powerful MTG creatures:

  • Sonic the Hedgehog, Shadow, Tails, Knuckles, Amy Rose, Dr. Eggman, and Super State.
    These cards feature bold artwork by a lineup of talented artists, such as Evan Stanley and Tracy Yardley, bringing high-speed flair to match gameplay.

Gear up with this accessories-focused drop—you’ll get classic MTG artifacts repurposed as Sonic-themed gear:

  • Cards include The Reaver Cleaver (Knuckles’s Gloves), Swiftfoot Boots (Air Shoes), Lightning Greaves (Power Sneakers), Weatherlight (Tornado, Sonic’s Biplane), Myr Battlesphere (Egg Hammer), Hammer of Nazahan (Piko Piko Hammer), plus an Egg Pawn token.
