“I was desperately looking for its meaning, writing pages and pages of textual analysis,” he admitted.
The Batman actor became so obsessed with cracking the deeper meaning behind a pivotal scene that he couldn’t sleep. Eventually, he called Zendaya late at night, hoping she could help him understand it before they filmed the next day.
“I spent two hours on the phone with Zendaya, trying to figure it out,” he said.
But instead of unraveling some deep cinematic mystery, Zendaya calmly explained that there was no hidden meaning at all!
“And there I was, going crazy for three days.”
