Rising Rapper FBG Murda Shot in Irving Amid Alleged Assault Case

On August 26, 2025, 21-year-old Dallas rapper FBG Murda (real name Cayto Rivers) was shot during an incident at a muffler shop in Irving, Texas. Surprisingly, officials list him not merely as a victim—but as a suspect in an alleged aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

The Incident

Police report that Rivers and another individual, Elijah Jacobs, entered a restricted area of the muffler shop around 2:30 p.m. When asked to leave, the pair allegedly became aggressive and brandished firearms. Attempting to flee, they dragged one of the victims with a vehicle. It was during this struggle that a gunshot struck Rivers.

First responders found Rivers about a block away from the scene and transported him to a hospital. Jacobs was arrested, and Rivers is expected to face charges once he’s medically cleared.
