The United States exceeds 200,000 deaths from the coronavirus. In total, 6.8 million people have been infected in the country, which remains the most affected by the pandemic. In Spain, the Ministry of Health has added 10,799 new infections this Tuesday and has notified 241 deaths to the official count. In total 682,267 people have been infected and 30,904 have died since the beginning of the pandemic, according to official data provided by Health. The Ministry estimates that 16% of ICU beds in Spain are occupied by covid cases. In La Rioja they are 56% and in Madrid, 36%. The Council of Ministers approved a decree law on Tuesday to regulate teleworking in Spain.The norm establishes that remote work is voluntary and reversible and that employers will have to bear the costs . Health finalizes an agreement with the communities to lower the quarantine from 14 to 10 days , something that Catalonia has already announced that it will do for those who have been in close contact with a positive case, as announced this Tuesday by the Secretary of Public Health, Josep Maria Argimon, on Catalan public television. The Minister of Health, Salvador Illa, has recommended to all Madrilenians to reduce mobility given the epidemiological situation in the region, the most affected in Europe . The president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel D?az Ayuso, announced this Tuesday that the restrictions have to be taken to more areas of the region. The pandemic adds more than 31 million infected worldwide and 966,000 deaths.
