T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach, the hosts of the popular podcast “Amy and T.J.”, have spoken candidly about their relationship and their divorces from their former spouses, Marilee Fiebig and Andrew Shue, respectively.
The couple, who met as co-anchors on GMA3, revealed that they were in the process of ending their marriages when they started dating and that they were not cheating on their exes, as some tabloids suggested.
“Tabloid stories aren’t reported. They are planted. I got a whole education on this this year,” Holmes said on the Tuesday, January 2, episode of their podcast. Robach agreed, saying, “That’s a good one and very true.”
Holmes, 46, and Robach, 50, also shared some of the lessons they learned from 2023, a year that was marked by personal and professional challenges.
Holmes said he learned to be more honest and vulnerable, while Robach said she learned to appreciate the simple things in life, such as holding hands.
“I like holding your hand. You make me feel safe. That was a big [fact] I learned about myself. I needed you in my life,” Robach told Holmes.
The pair also expressed their gratitude for each other and their listeners, who have supported them throughout their journey.
“We are so lucky to have each other and to have you guys,” Robach said. “Thank you for being with us every step of the way.”
Holmes and Robach’s podcast, which launched in December 2022, covers topics ranging from current events to personal stories and features interviews with celebrities and experts.
Their former spouses, Fiebig, 46, and Shue, 56, are reportedly dating each other, but have not commented publicly on their relationship.
Fiebig, who shares a 10-year-old daughter with Holmes, stated in November 2022, saying that she was focused on the best interest of her child and that she was disappointed by Holmes’ lack of discretion and respect.
Shue, who shares three sons with Robach, deleted all traces of his ex-wife from his social media accounts after her romance with Holmes made headlines.
Holmes and Robach have two daughters each from their previous marriages and have blended their families.

They have also been spotted enjoying vacations and outings together, and have posted several photos of their happy moments on their Instagram accounts.
