Early on Tuesday morning, thousands of customers in Poway experienced a power outage, as reported by the SDG&E outage website. The affected areas included Rancho Penasquitos, Rancho Bernardo, and San Pasqual, where over 8,000 residents briefly lost power.
As of 8:40 a.m., most of the power had been restored, with approximately 3,000 residents still without power. SDG&E is actively working on restoring power to the remaining affected customers, and the estimated time for full restoration is 10:30 a.m., according to information provided on the SDG&E website.
