Levi Wright, the 3-year-old son of rodeo star Spencer Wright, has passed away after being taken off life support. The heartbreaking decision came two weeks after Levi’s tragic accident with his toy tractor near a waterway, which left him unconscious a mile from home. The accident occurred in Beaver County, Utah, where Levi was playing outside while his mother, Kallie Wright, momentarily went inside their home. Upon returning, she found Levi’s toy tractor overturned and immediately called 911. Despite efforts to save him, Levi was later found unconscious in the water.
Family and friends had been holding onto hope, reporting small signs of improvement over the past two weeks. However, after consulting with leading neurologists and conducting thorough tests, the family determined that letting Levi go was the best decision. Kallie Wright expressed the family’s sorrow and acceptance on Facebook, stating, “Here soon I’ll climb into bed with my baby and hold him as he falls asleep for the last time on this earth.”
Levi’s passing has left a profound impact on those who knew him. Close family friend Mindy Clark shared her grief and reflected on the small miracles they witnessed during Levi’s final days. Clark emphasized the positive influence Levi had, even in his short life, bringing people together and serving as a beacon of light.
The accident on May 21 prompted a swift response from the Beaver County Sheriff’s Office, with life-saving measures administered at the scene before Levi was airlifted to Primary Children’s Hospital. Despite the best efforts of medical professionals, Levi’s condition did not improve, leading to the family’s difficult decision.
Levi Wright is survived by his parents, Spencer and Kallie Wright, and his two siblings. Spencer Wright, a renowned rodeo star ranked No. 40 in the world in saddle bronc riding, and his family are now left to navigate this devastating loss.
