The Epic Games Store is stirring excitement among users by reportedly offering four free AAA games over the next month.
Last week, instead of the usual reveal, Epic teased a “mystery game” for this week’s free offering. According to the reliable dataminer billbil-kun, today’s free game will coincide with the launch of the Epic Games Store Mega Sale.
During the anticipated four-week promotion running from May 16 to June 13, Epic is said to be giving away one triple-A game each week. The first title rumored to kick off this giveaway spree is Dragon Age Inquisition – Game of the Year Edition.
If billbil-kun’s information is accurate, Dragon Age: Inquisition will replace the current freebie Circus Electrique. Players will have one week, starting today at 11am ET / 4pm GMT, to claim this acclaimed title from Epic’s PC marketplace for free.
This enticing promotion follows Epic’s track record of generosity, having given away a staggering 86 free titles in 2023. These games, collectively worth $2,055, were claimed by users almost 586 million times.
Excitement surrounding the Dragon Age franchise is further fueled by BioWare’s plans to fully unveil Dragon Age: Dreadwolf this summer. Publisher EA has also confirmed intentions to release two undisclosed titles within the fiscal year ending in March 2025, with Dragon Age: Dreadwolf rumored to be one of them.
