Adam Driver, 40, and his wife, Joanne Tucker, 41, have joyfully welcomed their second child, a baby girl, as confirmed by the actor during a recent appearance on Live With Kelly and Mark on Wednesday, December 20.

The star of “Ferrari” shared the delightful news, revealing that their daughter is now 8 months old. Despite the challenges of sleepless nights, Driver expressed his commitment to savoring the precious moments with their new addition. The couple also has a 6-year-old son, and Driver humorously remarked, “you kind of forget how much babies suck.”

Reflecting on his evolving perspective on parenthood, Driver expressed a newfound patience with their daughter, emphasizing the importance of enjoying the present. He acknowledged that with his first child, he was eager for developmental milestones, but now he is taking a more relaxed approach.

Adam Driver and Joanne Tucker first met in 2006 while studying acting at Juilliard in New York City. In a 2019 interview with The New Yorker, Driver praised Tucker for her composed demeanor and extensive knowledge. The couple has not only shared the screen in various projects, including the 2012 film “Gayby,” 2019’s “The Report,” and a 2016 episode of the HBO series “Girls,” but they have also collaborated on their nonprofit, Arts in the Armed Forces.

Arts in the Armed Forces is a nonprofit organization founded by Driver and Tucker, aiming to bring arts programming to active-duty service members, veterans, military support staff, and their families worldwide, free of charge. The organization seeks to provide a creative outlet for those in the armed forces, offering a reprieve from the challenges and stresses they face.

Driver, who joined the armed forces after 9/11, has spoken openly about the challenges and uncertainties of life. In an interview with GQ in August 2014, he discussed the difficulties people face daily and the fleeting moments of connection that offer solace.

The couple tied the knot in June 2013 in a destination wedding in Bermuda, attended by Driver’s “Girls” co-star Lena Dunham. Tucker revealed in a 2019 interview that Bermuda held sentimental value for her as she spent summers there during her childhood.
