To finish off a disordered 2020, Taylor Swift shared a photograph of herself in a bear outfit and Midsommar began moving on Twitter. Midsommar is a 2019 film that follows a gathering of companions. Who travel to Sweden for the Midsommar celebration. Which starts off as a pure festival however rapidly transforms into something horrendous. It stars Florence Pugh as the lamenting Dani, with Jack Reynor. Will Poulter, Isabelle Grill, William Jackson Harper, and Vilhelm Blomgren joining her in the cast.
It appears to be even Taylor Swift is an Aster fan. As she tweeted a clear reference to Midsommar’s last demonstration where one character is sewn into the body of a bear. Quick’s photograph includes her in a bear outfit with the inscription, “bye 2020, it’s been strange.” Fans promptly got on the reference, contrasting Swift’s photograph with stills and scenes from Midsommar.
Maybe Midsommar will appreciate a resurgence in prevalence because of Swift’s photograph. The film closes on a therapeutic – yet profoundly upsetting – note. So, it could fill in as a sort of idyllic representation for the year’s end. Burning it all down (figuratively, obviously) and beginning new is positively an engaging one after the horrible that was 2020.
