“There was definitely talk of it, especially when it first came out, which was a long time ago. Presently at this point, I mean, I don’t have any news. Do I think it could happen? It could, yet it has been quite a while. It would have to be the thing where it resembles, flash forward 15 years and where are the characters now? And, I also will say, it would be so cool to do a development on that movie however there is something really, really decent about not messing with something that turned out so great.

So I would be exceptionally pleased if we somehow managed to accomplish something, similar to a sequel of some kind with it. In any case, I would be equally pleased that the movie lives on in all of its magnificence as it was. And, as for Allison, I mean, I don’t have the foggiest idea. I might want to accept that her and Dale lived, maybe, happily ever after with some things going incorrectly, yet I might want to think that they were still together.”

Based on Bowden’s comments, there aren’t right now any plans in the works for a Tucker and Dale vs. Evil sequel film, however that doesn’t mean there’s no future for the misunderstood pals. However the cast and group have moved onto other projects – Craig is allegedly directing frightfulness romantic comedy The Hills Have Eyes For You for Netflix, and Tudyk’s new series Resident Alien was as of late restored briefly season – previous comments from Tudyk and Labine have indicated that the story may continue in some structure. Of course, Bowden may be right in suggesting that it’s better for Tucker and Dale vs. Evil to remain “in all of its greatness as it was.” If fans don’t respond as positively to a sequel, whatever structure it takes, it could tarnish the legacy of the original, and the last thing Tucker and Dale need is to have their reputation maligned again.
