Ned Fulmer and Wife Ariel Separate After Years of Public Healing

Ned Fulmer and his wife Ariel have officially separated, three years after his widely publicized cheating scandal—sources close to the former Try Guys star confirm. While the pair remain on amicable terms and continue co-parenting their two children, the romantic bond appears to have ended. According to reporting, they will appear together for the first time since the scandal on the debut episode of Ned’s new podcast, Rock Bottom, where they’ll publicly address his infidelity.

The scandal in question, which emerged in 2022, involved Ned admitting to an extramarital affair with an employee at his production company. The fallout was immediate: Fulmer left The Try Guys, and he and Ariel retreated largely from public life. Over the past few years, reports say, they both sought therapy, worked to rebuild trust, and set new boundaries to protect their family life.

On the Rock Bottom podcast, Ariel was candid about what trust looks like now—and what has changed. She was clear that she has not forgiven the affair. “Absolutely not,” she said, when asked whether forgiveness had been achieved. The couple, she emphasized, are no longer romantically involved and haven’t been for some time. Yet despite ending the romantic portion of their relationship, they still make efforts to spend time together as a family—including a recent trip to Greece with the children.

Fulmer, speaking in the same conversation, acknowledged the damage caused by the affair—not just to his marriage, but to how he was perceived by fans. He discussed the mismatch between the "Wife Guy" persona he had cultivated publicly and the reality of what was happening behind the scenes. He says that stepping away from public life and social media helped him reflect on his values and identity. Creating Rock Bottom is part of his effort to rebuild in a more honest and grounded way, with stricter boundaries regarding what parts of his family life he shares with the world.

While the separation is real, it’s not marked by animosity in public statements. Ariel and Ned emphasize they want to remain capable co-parents and maintain some level of friendship for their kids. “We are still friends," Ned shared, "we have children together, we go on trips together." But in terms of romantic relationship, he acknowledged, “We really haven’t been at all these last three years.”
