Myrtle Beach Pastor's Home Raided by FBI Amid Mica Miller Inquiry
Federal authorities conducted a search at the home of Myrtle Beach pastor John-Paul Miller, who has been linked to a high-profile investigation following the death of his wife, Mica Miller, earlier this year. FBI spokesperson Kevin Wheeler confirmed that the search was authorized, but no further details were provided regarding its purpose or any potential connections to Mica's death, which was ruled a suicide in Robeson County, North Carolina.
WMBF News reporters observed FBI agents at the scene throughout the afternoon, carrying evidence bags and going in and out of Miller's home on Coldwater Circle. Neighbors reported that agents had been present for several hours before clearing out around 6 p.m. One neighbor, Butch, remarked on the unexpected nature of such an event occurring in their community, noting that Miller had not been seen around the neighborhood for a few days and his truck was missing.
Mica Miller's death gained national attention due to allegations regarding her marriage to John-Paul, who was the pastor of Solid Rock Church in Myrtle Beach at the time. Community members expressed concern and curiosity about the ongoing investigation, with one resident, Gina Whittington, sharing that she had followed the case closely since Mica's death and was informed about the FBI's presence during a TikTok live session.
The search has stirred emotions within the community, and as of now, John-Paul Miller's whereabouts remain unknown. Further updates will be provided as the situation develops.
