Victoria Monét Unveils Dates for Highly Anticipated JAGUAR Tour

Victoria Monét has revealed details of her first-ever headliner solo tour. The trek, which is named after her landmark album JAGUAR and its upcoming sequel, will feature performances of songs from both albums.On Sept. 6, Detroit will serve as the opening city of the 22-city tour. Before a big conclusion on October 22 in Chicago, Monét will next tour major cities like Toronto, Atlanta, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles. This Friday, July 14, at 10 a.m., tickets for The JAGUAR Tour will go on sale on her website.

The eagerly awaited JAGUAR II LP will formally release on August 25 through Lovett Music/RCA Records. The “A** Like That” singer is aware that her admirers have been eagerly awaiting the sequel since the release of the first volume in 2020. She posted the announcement and the message, “We’ve waited three years, don’t let this flop,” on Instagram last month.

The singer has had a strong start to the year, releasing popular hits including “Smoke” with Lucky Daye, “Party Girls” with Buju Banton, and most recently, “On My Mama.” Monét discussed her mental state while she wrote singles for the upcoming project during a recent appearance on The Ebro Show on Apple Music 1.

I was going through a lot of difficulty. I was breastfeeding, dealing with depression after giving birth, adjusting to life, and dealing with COVID, the mother of one said. We’re in a pandemic, so everything is a little bit risky, and bringing a youngster into the studio is worrisome. And ‘On My Mama’ was the first song I ever recorded that I genuinely enjoyed. But it came at a time when I was struggling to believe what I was truly saying. Therefore, it almost seems as though I had to talk it into existence.
