Def Leppard and Journey Announce Joint Summer Tour for 2024

Rock fans rejoice as Grammy-nominated rock giants, Def Leppard and Journey, are set to embark on an epic joint summer tour in 2024. The announcement was made on Thursday, revealing over 20 upcoming shows, including a spectacular performance at Wrigley Field in Chicago. The tour is scheduled to kick off on July 6 at Busch Stadium in St. Louis, promising an unforgettable experience for fans across the country.

Joining the powerhouse duo for select shows will be other legendary acts, including the Steve Miller Band, Heart, and Cheap Trick, ensuring that the tour will be a celebration of rock music at its finest.

Def Leppard lead vocalist, Joe Elliott, shared his excitement in a statement posted on the Journey website, saying, “We shall hit the boards running with a brand-new stage show and set of songs that will celebrate specific parts of our history. We may even have a surprise or two up our sleeves… so, wanna join us?! See you in the summer!”

The tour is currently scheduled to conclude on September 8 at Denver’s Coors Field, leaving fans eagerly anticipating the possibility of additional tour dates.

Rock enthusiasts can register for ticket pre-sale online, with pre-sale tickets becoming available on Tuesday at 12 p.m. CT. General ticket sales will commence on December 15.

Def Leppard, consisting of bass player Rick Savage, drummer Rick Allen, and guitarists Phil Collen and Vivian Campbell, spent the majority of 2023 on a world tour, captivating audiences across South America, Europe, Asia, and the United States. The band also performed alongside Mötley Crüe, having been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2019.

Before the joint summer tour with Def Leppard, Journey is set to embark on its own tour across the United States, celebrating its 50th anniversary starting on February 9, 2024. The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee will be joined by the iconic “Africa” band Toto for what promises to be an extraordinary musical journey.

No matter which city you come to, this will be an amazing night of music!” exclaimed Journey in a news release, leaving no doubt that the joint tour will be a celebration of rock history and a must-see event for fans of all ages.
