NewJeans has achieved the milestone of 1 billion streams at the fastest pace among Korean acts on Spotify

NewJeans, the newest girl group from HYBE managed by ADOR, has gained enormous popularity since making their debut on July 22, 2022. NewJeans, which consists of the musicians Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein, has emerged as the next big thing in Korean music.

The girl trio has so far only put out one mini-album and one single album, but even with just six songs to their credit, they accomplished an amazing feat.

According to the most recent statistics provided by the music service, after only seven months since their debut, NewJeans has amassed 1 billion total music streams for their tracks.

The only song from their six that has fewer than 100 million streams is the B-side “Hurt,” which was also the one that wasn’t released independently as a single. Hype Boy and Ditto, two chart-topping songs, both have 200 million streams, with “OMG” and “Attention” catching up. Their first single’s lead single, “Cookie,” is likewise not too far behind.

Together with their personal ambassadorships for Gucci and Armani Beauty for Hanni, Louis Vuitton for Hyein, Burberry for Danielle, and Chanel for Minji, the members have also been named as the honorary ambassadors for the 2023 Seoul Fashion Week.
