The BLINKs, BLACKPINK’s devoted followers, are by their side at all times as they pursue their goal of becoming one of the most popular musicians in the world. The fact that the foursome has released two Korean EPs, two full albums, two compilation albums, and one Japanese mini-album to their credit does not surprise me in the least. Some of their singles, such as “Kill This Love,” “How You Like That,” “Lovesick Girls,” and the most recent “Pink Venom,” have grown to be among the most popular albums over time.

Becoming the girl group with the most streams is BLACKPINK

The female group from YG Entertainment reportedly scored 8,880,030,049 individual streams across all credits, according to reports on March 9. The same was validated by Guinness World Records, which declared BLACKPINK as the new bearer of the title of Spotify’s most-streamed girl group after the Korean girl group overtook the British act in terms of popularity.

The most popular songs from BLACKPINK on Spotify

As was already said, their past title songs have been favourites of the audience. ‘How You Like That’ has received 746,198,263 streams, followed by ‘Kill This Love’ with 672,084,360, and ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’ with 574,613,362 streams. They have merely added another Guinness World Record to their resume because the hundreds of millions of streams weren’t enough. Their other accomplishments include being the first female K-pop act to top the UK Albums and U.S. Albums Charts and the most subscribed group in the world on the video platform YouTube.

The trio started the “BORN PINK World Tour” after the release of their second studio album, travelling around North America, Europe, and Asia before returning for additional performances. The oldest member, who will make her solo debut on March 31 with the album “ME,” has been working on her solo projects alongside the other three members. As brand ambassadors for Chanel, Dior, and YSL, respectively, members Jennie, Jisoo, and Rosé recently attended Paris Fashion Week, taking over the streets and runways. Later this year, the group will perform at Coachella.
