BTS’s J-Hope will be dropping his much awaited single ‘On The Street’ this Friday. BigHit Music on Thursday shared the news alongside the teaser for the star’s upcoming collab with J Cole.
The news comes just days after the singer’s agency revealed that his military enlistment process has begun. BigHit Music’s statement read, “Hello, this is BIGHIT MUSIC. We would like to inform our fans that j-hope has initiated the military enlistment process by applying for the termination of enlistment postponement. We will inform you of further updates in due course. We ask you for your continued love and support for j-hope until he completes his military service and safely returns. Our company will spare no effort in providing support for our artist. Thank you.”
The star also shared a sweet message with his fans regarding his enlistment process. “It’s not a big deal I’ll go and come back quickly. I trust you (guys) whenever.. and you guys trust me, right? Trust you.. and trust me. Anyway, I’m not getting enlisted right away, that’s the fact. The comments look like they’re already sending me away. It’s not on yet, we’ve only started the process. Even while I’m doing the military service, I’ve prepared stuff just for you. I think of many things and prepare many things as always.”
The agency later also shared that J-Hope will be dropping his new track at 2 PM (KST) on March 3, 2023. According to the agency, J-Hope’s upcoming song, “On The Street,” successfully captures and expresses his deep emotions. The title of the song is inspired by his street dance background, which ultimately led him to pursue a career as an artist.
