R&B star Usher revealed that he has become a blink after attending the Born Pink World Tour alongside his sons and watch Blackpink perform live.

The star spoke to GQ about his experience attending the girl band’s concert with his sons, Usher Cinco Raymond V and Naviyd Ely Raymond. “I literally went to a BLACKPINK concert in Atlanta, and I was like, man!” he said, letting a laugh out. “I’m goofy! I’m looking like, ‘Wow, this is amazing.’ They were putting on a show. Wardrobe, great sequencing, with the lighting and everything working in sync—there’s no detail spared. I loved that.”

The girl band’s stellar performance also influenced the American’s approach to his own Las Vegas residency as said by the singer. “I really wanted to give women something to look forward to, something to come here to Las Vegas with their friends for,” he stated. “They come out and really enjoy themselves for the entire weekend. They want to be able to really get away and have an experience,” he added.

Usher talks about moving to Vegas for residency

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Usher shared about his experience performing at a residency and how it is different from a typical world tour. “It’s time-consuming and very expensive to move around like that. But the one thing is the time that you lose. Being at home, the one benefit is I get a chance to spend a little bit more time with my kids,” he said.

The star further added, “During the school year is a bit complicated, but in the summertime, it’s really fun. [Son] Usher gets better at basketball, at least he’s trying to. And Naviyd, he’s found some really cool camps here and he made some friends here. My littlest ones, they literally are happy wherever they are. We kind of live in this really cool mansion in the sky down here, so it’s pretty fun to be in the middle of all the action and then come right home and you’re with your kids.”
