BTS’s V talked about his relationship to cooking and more in a recent press conference as a part of a promotional campaign for tvN’s upcoming food reality show, “Seojin’s Korean Street Food.”

The K-Pop icon who’s also a part of the cast, started with talking about his experience working on the show. “I was really excited to be on the show. Once I finally started filming, I experienced so many new things for the first time in my life, and the cast and crew helped to make this experience unforgettable for me,” V said.

The star further added, “I was expecting to wait on tables, but when I got there, they asked me to cook. Well, within BTS, I’m the worst at cooking, and so I thought, ‘Why me?’. But as I began learning… I still wasn’t able to gain a sense of ‘the joy of cooking’. Cooking is just so hard. For me, it was really tough.”

The restaurant owner Lee Seo Jin shared his thoughts on having V as an intern. “Taehyung is not the type to go out of his way to satisfy others. But once he’s given a task, he fulfills his duties without complaint. Rather than stepping out of line and making trouble, being diligent in the role that you are given is what an intern is supposed to do,” he said.

Here’s why BTS’s V had to get IV injections 3 times

Taehyung also shared about getting IV injections three times after the show’s filming came to an end because of the intense efforts he put in.

“When I returned home after the shoot, I got an IV three times. I put my bloody effort. Please look forward to it,” the star said.

‘Jinny’s Kitchen’ airs on February 24 at 8.50 PM KST on tvN and TVING for the Korean viewers. For the international viewers, the show will be available on Amazon Prime Video to stream.
