BTS’s J-Hope has shared one of the most memorable compliments of his life in an interview with Disney+ as a part of promotional campaign for his documentary “J-Hope In The Box.”
The 28-year-old said, “There’s a saying, praise can even make the whales dance. In a way, a lot of things were the first to me, but a simple praise like ‘Oh, you’re good at it’ gave me a lot of inspiration. I think I could feel like having fun out of it,”
The singer further shared the compliment that he adores the most, specified: “You’re incredibly good at this style of music.”
“Everyone has their own things, you know. You have your own style and you are good at some things. And I had my own things and I got a specific compliment for that. That’s what I liked and remembered.” He said.
J-Hope and more make the list of Rolling Stone’s “The 25 most stylish musicians of 2023”
American magazine Rolling Stone has shared the list of most stylish artists of the year, earlier this month.
K-pop icons Blackpink and BTS’s J-Hope made it to the top 25 with the girl band coming out at 6th and J-Hope at 21st.
The magazine wrote about J-Hope, “As the first member of BTS to release a solo album… J-Hope understood that expectations were sky-high when he stepped onstage alone for the first time, at Lollapalooza. Unsurprisingly, the singer and rapper delivered, both with his excellent new music and the newfound edge of his look that night… J-Hope is writing a chapter of his career, and fashion is a huge part of it,”
Rolling Stone further added, “Last year, the 28-year-old artist switched to a fiery-red hairdo, which fits perfectly with his audacious floral patterns and color combos, the wild and almost unfashionable accessories he favors, and his ability to morph into any persona he chooses through clothing.”
J-Hope’s documentary film is coming to Disney+ this February 17.
