BLACKPINK member Jisoo will finally make her solo debut, and we can’t wait to witness her unique artistic qualities. YG Entertainment announced today by saying, “BLACKPINK’s Jisoo is currently accelerating the recording of a solo album. Amidst the busy schedule of the world tour since last year, in order to keep the promise with fans, we have finished taking photos for the jacket and have been working on music in our spare time. We will come back soon with good news.”
Jisoo, the fourth member of BLACKPINK after Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa, will now make her solo debut. BLACKPINK is now engaged in the biggest world tour of any K-pop girl group. BLACKPINK members performed across North America, seven cities, and Europe beginning with the event in Seoul in October. They will start performing in portions of Asia this year. The recording stage of Jisoo’s solo album is presently underway. Her management company, YG Entertainment, announced that she had finished the album’s picture shoot and will probably soon reveal the album’s title.
Except for Jisoo, every member of BLACKPINK has made their solo debut in the recent years and has received a tonne of support from both fans and non-fans. Jennie came first, then Rosé, and Lisa was last. Many fans have been anticipating Jisoo’s solo debut for years, and now that it has been announced, we can’t wait to see Jisoo perform solo. In the historical drama Snowdrop, which starred Jung Hae In and others, she previously made her acting debut. The drama’s critics praised and supported her performance.
Blackpink debuted in 2016 with their first album Square One. The second regular album from BLACKPINK, “BORN PINK,” has sold roughly 2.82 million copies. When it was released, it quickly reached the “double million seller” mark, selling 2,141,281 copies in a day and a half. As it continues to increase rapidly alongside the globe tour, it is worthwhile to look forward to becoming a “Triple Million Seller.”
This is only one of the several successes that BLACKPINK has attained as a result of the BORN PINK project. It was a significant year that once more demonstrated the potential of ‘Another Class’ BLACKPINK. Highlights included excellent music that further emphasised the group’s distinctive identity, a stronger presence in the international pop market, and the largest world tour ever undertaken by a K-pop girl group.
