Song Joong Ki is dating. After initial reports of his relationship status changing on December 26 morning surfaced, the South Korean superstar has now confirmed that he is dating a British woman. At his media conference on December 7 in Singapore, Song Joong Ki reportedly introduced a woman to the cast and crew of his drama Reborn Rich.
According to rumours, the two started dating last year after being introduced by a friend. As Song Joong Ki is being upfront about his relationship, there have been reports of images of the two taken at the Incheon International Airport. The actor’s management company, HighZium Studio, revealed in a statement that he was in a relationship, “Actor Song Joong Ki is currently seeing a woman with good feelings. We hope that you can support their relationship.”
The agency continued to address more rumours, saying, “We ask for your understanding that information other than the fact that they are in a relationship cannot be confirmed. Please refrain from writing any unconfirmed or speculative reports.” On July 5, 2017, the South Korean actor declared his engagement to co-star Song Hye Kyo of “Descendants of the Sun,” confirming their romance.
On October 31, 2017, the pair wed in a grandiose ceremony. The couple separated, however, and declared that their divorce would take place in June 2019. Since then, rumours have surfaced that the actor is dating other co-stars, including Kim Tae Ri, who he starred alongside in the science fiction film “Space Sweepers.” All such rumours had been refuted by his agency.
