Janet Jackson recently reflected on the joys of motherhood in an interview with The Guardian, describing it as the “most important thing” she’s ever done. At 58, she shared how her 7-year-old son, Eissa Al Mana, has profoundly impacted her life, stating, “It’s had a beautiful impact on my life.”

Jackson, who welcomed Eissa at 50 with ex-husband Wissam Al Mana, expressed a desire for a larger family but ultimately decided to focus on giving her all to her son. She emphasized the importance of letting him enjoy his childhood, noting, “You’re an adult for the rest of your life, so I want him to enjoy each and every minute of being a child.”

In discussing her parenting approach, Jackson acknowledged the values she learned growing up, noting that while she may wish her parents had done some things differently, she appreciates the grounding they provided.

While balancing motherhood, Jackson announced her upcoming Las Vegas residency at Resorts World Theatre, starting with back-to-back performances on December 30 and 31, and continuing into January and February. She expressed excitement for the shows, promising fans an unforgettable experience.

Before heading to Vegas, Jackson will kick off the European leg of her Together Again Tour on September 25 in Paris.
