Story
The fast-moving action-comedy “Wolfs” examines the collision of two legendary performers in parts that combine their hilarious chemistry with exciting action scenes. Under the direction of Jon Watts and supported by an outstanding production team, Max and Leo traverse the hectic streets of New York City in search of riches, atonement, and possibly even an unexpected friendship. The film promises to be a mix of humor, suspense, and unexpected twists.
Plot
Two seasoned professional fixers, Max (George Clooney) and Leo (Brad Pitt), known as lone wolves in the underworld, find themselves inadvertently hired for the same high-stakes job in the bustling metropolis of New York City one fateful night. Max and Leo, who are both well-known for their flawless abilities and unparalleled resourcefulness, have always worked alone and have no trust in others.
Their paths converge when Leo and Max are hired simultaneously to retrieve a valuable artifact that was stolen from a prestigious museum by an enigmatic client with large funds and a sinister plan. At first, neither of them realizes the other is involved, and they end up in a hilarious competition against time and each other to find the artifact and get the big payout.
Max and Leo come to the realization that working together, albeit reluctantly, may be their best chance at success as they make their way through the underworld of the city, where they come across rival gangs, unconventional allies, and strange informants. But since old habits die hard, their relationship is beset by amusing miscommunications, opposing philosophies, and an ongoing power struggle.
Concealing in the background is a crafty foe (played by Austin Abrams), a young and astute rival fixer employed by an enigmatic outsider to make sure that neither Max nor Leo complete their task. With his youthful exuberance and tech-savvy abilities, he turns into a formidable obstacle that makes Max and Leo face their own vulnerabilities and reconsider their solo lifestyle.
