Story
A group of friends find themselves stranded on a forbidden mountain following an unanticipated accident. They find themselves at the house of three solitary and violent mountain people as a result of their desperate search for assistance. The friends are forced to negotiate a dangerous scenario that seems like it belongs in a nightmare as tensions mount. But as the narrative progresses, it becomes evident that the mountain men’s apparently homicidal actions are masking a deeper, more intricate story. A struggle for survival turns into an engrossing story about miscommunication, surviving, and seeking atonement.
Plot
In Sugarloaf: Home Sweet Home, a group of friends finds themselves stranded on a remote and forbidden mountain after an unexpected accident. As they struggle to find help, they inadvertently stumble upon the secluded home of three mountain dwellers. These residents, who seem to possess a savage and bloodthirsty demeanor, will go to extreme lengths to defend their territory. As tensions rise, the friends must navigate the perilous situation and uncover the deeper story behind these enigmatic mountain men.
