Plot
The inhabitants of the tranquil underwater city of Bikini Bottom are thrown into chaos when it is unexplainably lifted out of the water. The creative and resourceful squirrel Sandy Cheeks (Carolyn Lawrence) works with her best friend SpongeBob SquarePants (Tom Kenny) to save their home. In the hopes that Sandy’s family can help, they set out on a crazy and entertaining journey to Sandy’s native Texas.
Their adventure is full of funny people, unanticipated challenges, and lots of laughter. They come across a wide range of people who each give their mission a special twist along the route. The pair gets assistance from all over the universe, from the stern and unyielding Mr. Krabs (Clancy Brown) to the lovable but dimwitted Patrick Star (Bill Fagerbakke).
Holding down the fort and defending the remaining inhabitants from multiple threats, such as the mischievous antics of Johnny Knoxville’s character and Craig Robinson’s comedic villain, is the task of Squidward (Rodger Bumpass) and Plankton (Mr. Lawrence) back in Bikini Bottom.
Story
When Bikini Bottom is unexplainably pulled out of the ocean in “Saving Bikini Bottom: The Sandy Cheeks Movie,” catastrophe strikes. In order to return to her native Texas, Sandy Cheeks sets out on an exciting adventure with her best friend SpongeBob SquarePants. In an attempt to save their friends and their underwater home from danger, the two ask Sandy’s family for assistance.
