Story
In the coming-of-age drama Paradise, Jenny Peters, a teenager troubled by a challenging home life, is explored in her struggles. She makes her way through the challenges of puberty in a society where she frequently feels ignored and undervalued. Jenny is taken to an enigmatic, empty void one night as she falls into a restless sleep. She finds herself on trial in this strange place, her soul in jeopardy.
Makenzie Raine portraying an angel, makes a case for Jenny’s innate goodness by emphasizing her kindness, tenacity, and unrealized potential. However, a demon (played by Avaryana Rose) exposes her shortcomings, her errors, and the darkness that her difficult upbringing has caused her to carry inside of her.
Jenny confronts her own regrets, dreams, and fears as the trial progresses. In addition to being a struggle between right and wrong, the case for her soul is also a quest for self-awareness. Jenny will eventually have to decide whether she deserves a second chance at life or if the darkness within her will consume her. She must come to terms with who she is and who she wants to become.
