Story

Plot Summary
Jessica Chastain’s character Alice and Anne Hathaway’s character Celine are best friends and mothers of two young sons, Michael and Thomas, who live in a quiet suburban neighborhood. Their lives take a tragic turn when a sudden accident involving their children sparks a chain of events that unravel their seemingly perfect lives.
As guilt, suspicion, and paranoia set in, the once unbreakable bond between Alice and Celine begins to fray. Alice’s protective instincts clash with Celine’s desire for the truth, leading them down a dark path where secrets and lies threaten to destroy everything they hold dear.
