Storyline
A sensational murder and the finding of a million dollars in the sleepy, remote island town of Summerport set off a wild series of events. The once peaceful community is engulfed in chaos as its citizens struggle with growing violence, mistrust, and greed. The people’s increasingly bad choices threaten to destroy their once peaceful existence as secrets come to light and alliances change.
Plot Summary
A million dollar briefcase and the body of a wealthy businessman are discovered in Summerport, a picturesque island town, shocking everyone. The fortune initially intrigues the town’s residents, but they quickly discover that they are entangled in a web of lies and treachery. As everyone struggles with their own aspirations and doubts, their combined greed causes them to make a string of increasingly terrible decisions. Their actions cause the idyllic façade of the town to collapse, resulting in unexpected turns and a darkly comedic revelation of the town’s darkest secrets.
