Story
The film opens with renowned physicist Sue Storm (Vanessa Kirby) and brilliant scientist Reed Richards (Pedro Pascal) working on a bold experiment to enable interdimensional travel. Their attempt to create a bridge between their world and a new world of cosmic energy fails, resulting in an accident that gives Reed, Sue, Johnny Storm (Ebon Moss-Bachrach), Sue’s brother, and their friend Ben Grimm (Joseph Quinn) extraordinary abilities.
Reed becomes Mister Fantastic, able to stretch and reshape his body as he pleases. Sue assumes the persona of the Invisible Woman after mastering the ability to create force fields and become invisible. Now that he has the ability to control and manipulate fire, Johnny changes into the Human Torch, and Ben dramatically changes into The Thing, a rock-like creature with superhuman strength.
A growing cosmic threat confronts the group as they struggle with their newfound powers and come to terms with their new identities. The Celestials are ancient cosmic beings that are introduced in the movie and who see Earth as a threat to their interstellar dominion. These Celestials, under the command of a strong and mysterious person, aim to gather the energy from the interdimensional gap that Reed and Sue’s experiment caused.
The Fantastic Four must band together to battle this cosmic threat, as Earth’s future is at stake. The movie explores themes of family, identity, and sacrifice while also going deep into the characters’ personal struggles in addition to their valiant efforts. As they face their deepest fears and create an unbreakable bond, the team fights hard on both a physical and emotional level.

Plot Summary
Marvel’s First Family is introduced to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in “Fantastic Four,” an exciting reboot of the legendary Marvel team. The film follows Reed Richards (Mister Fantastic), Sue Storm (Invisible Woman), Johnny Storm (Human Torch), and Ben Grimm (The Thing) as they navigate their newfound superpowers and confront a rising threat to the world.
