Story
Cass is a young woman who has long abandoned the idea of love and intimacy after going through a string of heartbreaking events and retreating into emotional isolation. Her existence is monotonous and detached until she meets Virgil, a fascinating and captivating cartographer who has a strong interest in the secrets of time. Virgil is traveling with his faithful companion Malcolm to solve a centuries-old riddle in the hopes of reaching a place where time is bendable.
When Virgil learns of Cass’s remarkable capacity to resonate with the irregularities in time, his mission takes a different turn. A bold plan to travel back in time to significant moments in Cass’s life is proposed by Virgil and Malcolm, who think that the key to their quest may lie in reawakening her dormant capacity for love. Their mission is to help her rediscover the power of love and to rekindle the emotions she has buried deep inside of her.
Each time period that they travel through Cass’s past echoes reveals more about her complicated past and the causes of her emotional fortification. Cass starts to face her past traumas and forgotten joys in addition to the amazing sights of historical settings and the fantastical beauty of time travel. She gradually becomes more receptive to the idea of finding her former self and falling in love.

Plot Summary
