Story
The existence of humanity is in jeopardy in the science fiction thriller Escape from Earth! as a rogue planet that is headed straight for Earth looms large in the sky. The world’s greatest scientists and military strategists race against time to find a solution, but their efforts are in vain as impact is just days away. Desperate, the world government looks to an unlikely hero, the mysterious anti-hero Snake Plissken, who has a record of overcoming insurmountable obstacles.
Resurrecting his iconic role as Snake Plissken, Kurt Russell plays the man who is forced to go into dangerous missions after being called out of retirement. The idea is to sneak into a maximum-security facility housing a group of foreign detainees who were taken prisoner during a prior war. These aliens could be the key to rescuing Earth because of their sophisticated technology and understanding of cosmic phenomena.
Watched over by an overly vigilant guard force and robotic aliens, the prison is a complex maze of security measures. Plot Summary
