Story
Drive Back centers on Reid and Olivia, a young couple who recently attended a wild party to celebrate their engagement. They soon find themselves on a strange, seemingly never-ending road that defies reason and reality as they set out on their drive back home through the peaceful and barren countryside. They are always returning, no matter how far they drive, to the same foreboding location.
Strange events—radio stations blaring cryptic messages, phantom cars appearing in the rearview mirror, and the appearance of an ominous hitchhiker who seems to know more about their situation than he lets on—make their attempts to flee more desperate.
Their trust in each other is put to the test as they continue to drive through this terrifying loop and uncover secrets from their past. They understand that facing their deepest fears and the unresolved issues between them may be the only way to overcome them. They have to consider whether they can actually escape or if they are destined to travel this dark road indefinitely, though, as the distinction between reality and illusion becomes more hazy.
Plot
A young couple named Reid and Olivia are at the center of the gripping thriller “Drive Back” as they make their way home from their engagement party late at night. Their happy journey soon descends into a nightmare when they get stuck on a creepy, seemingly never-ending road. The couple discovers as the evening wears on that they are not alone because a malevolent force is pursuing them, tricking them, and driving them to the brink of insanity. Their relationship is put to the test as they try to get out of this terrifying maze, where time seems to stand still and the road never ends.
