Plot Summary
In 2030, a biblical-scale zombie pandemic wreaks havoc across the globe, destroying much of the United States and leaving the undead in their wake. Survivors are in a desperate and dispersed state as the last pockets of humanity try to find safety. “El Santuario del Sur,” a secluded and untamed plateau in Mexico thought to be immune to the zombie threat, appears to be the last bastion of hope.
Along with the horrors of the zombie apocalypse, the American survivors face the harsh realities of human nature in dire situations as they travel southward in danger. As they fight to get to their safe haven amidst the chaos, alliances are formed and put to the test, only to find that the real threat might be within their own ranks.
