Story
In the television series Consumed, Jay and Beth, a married couple, go camping to commemorate Beth’s cancer remission anniversary. When they find themselves stranded in the wilderness between two terrifying threats—a deranged madman and a skin-stealing monster—what starts out as a tranquil retreat rapidly turns into a nightmare. Beth has to face her own unspoken fears and the aftereffects of her illness as they fight to survive. As they navigate a terrifying ordeal that tests their resolve and their relationship, their struggle for survival turns into a test of their strength and unity.
Plot Summary
Now that Beth’s cancer is in remission, Jay and Beth decide to take a much-needed camping trip in the woods after overcoming a major obstacle in their lives. Their joyous celebration of life and health takes a sinister turn when they find themselves entangled in a terrifying circumstance. The couple finds themselves pursued by a terrifying creature that feeds on human flesh and a crazy, crazed individual that prowls the forest. Beth battles her own inner demons and is forced to face her past fears and uncertainties as they try to flee these threats. They are forced to the brink of their physical and emotional endurance as their journey through the dangerous terrain turns into a desperate struggle for survival.
