Plot Summary
As the movie begins, Bridget Jones is leading a more sedate life and caring for her two small children while coming to terms with Mark Darcy’s passing. Shazzer (Sally Phillips) and Miranda (Sarah Solemani), among other members of her family and friends, come together in support of her and offer encouragement. Bridget meets a charming man (played by an actor who has not yet been revealed) who opens her heart again and gives her a new lease on life, but he also adds a good deal of complications.

In addition to dealing with obstacles from her controlling mother (Gemma Jones) and a challenging work environment, Bridget has to deal with romantic ups and downs. With her trademark wit and fortitude, Bridget discovers that happiness can come from the most unlikely places as she learns to accept life’s and love’s unpredictable nature.
