Story

Plot Summary
“Borderlands” centers on the journey of Lilith (Jamie Lee Curtis), a renowned outlaw who returns to her home planet after years of exile, and is set on the dangerous and abandoned planet of Pandora. Reluctantly, she teams up with an oddball collection of explorers after being drawn back by an enigmatic distress signal: the knowledgeable but cynical treasure hunter Roland (Jack Black), the spirited and crafty thief Tiny Tina (Ariana Greenblatt), the wisecracking demolitions expert Brick (Kevin Hart), and the mysterious archaeologist Tannis (Cate Blanchett).
Their task was to save Ava, a young child whose secret ability was being sought after by the extreme cult leader Tyreen Calypso as well as the merciless corporate tyrant Atlas. The crew must contend with deadly alien monsters, vicious bandits, and the harsh terrain of Pandora as they travel through its diverse and harsh landscapes.
